Thank you to all the members for hanging in there through the meet with me, as i was feeling pretty unwell! The athletes were still able to have fun and be positive, so great job to everyone. LC can be tricky especially as a number of swimmers are under a bit of load at the moment. Remember to keep working towards your goals and holding yourself accountable to your improvements.
As we say 100% effort is all we ask, towards your racing, goals and technique. I am a great example over that weekend, I was trying 100% but I was obviously not at my best! It happens! But were you able to take some things away that will help you going forward!
It was really nice to see athletes fired up about meeting some fast swimmers. I mean maybe try and give them a few more mins than 30s after they swam but I hope you all got some great autographs and realized that those who are now older and at that level were once where you are now, and not too scary!
Some great swims, congrats to Sage and Max for their efforts and some club records for them in the younger ages! Keep positive as we go into our competition window!
