Canmore Mountain Madness

What a successful first meet. We had 65 riptides athletes attend, the most we have ever had, nearly full club attendance! We had many more athletes racing from Calgary and even out from Fernie.

I am so impressed with Novice and their swimming. Look what 1 month of training has done for us, we still have a whole season to swim through and it's looking like this is going to be an amazing and fast year.

Well done to all the 8 new Novice 1 athletes. You have finished your first meet, got the nervous feelings out and now lets see you attend more competitions throughout the year! So many smiles at the end of the meet.

Club records that were broken:

Ethan L, 16 yrs : 50FR 25.62 and 50 BK 28.59

Sage F 10 yrs: 100 IM 1:33.03
