Anthony drops 22 seconds off 10&U boys 200 breast club record

The Riptides started off 2016 with a bang at Pugsley’s Plunge in Calgary. After a grueling training camp over the Christmas break the team was ready to race at the first meet of the new year.

Anthony dominated the 10&U age group winning 5 gold and 1 bronze and breaking two of his own club records. He dropped 22 seconds off his 200 breast record and lowered his 100 IM record by two seconds.

Jaime led the girls with gold in 100 fly and bronze in 100 breast and 200 back. She also achieved 3 new B times in 100 IM and 50 and 100 breast.

Neo swam 57.06 in the 100 free to break Jason Evans’ 2010 club record and in the 50 back he broke Jason Donelon’s long standing 2007 record with a 30.25. He finished the meet with gold in 50 back and bronze in 100 free, 50 breast and 100 IM.

Kiana – silver in 100 fly & bronze in 200 IM, PBs in all races, and a new 200 IM B time

Shallis – gold in 400 free and new B times in 200 free, 400 free, 100 breast and 200 IM

Marin – bronze in 50 free and 5 new PBs

Avery – bronze in 100 IM and 4 new PBs

Alex – bronze in 50 fly in his first meet back from injury and 2 new PBs!

Riley – bronze in 100 breast and 4 new PBs. New B time in 400 free

Cassidy – 3 new PBs, a 68 second drop in 200 breast and a new B time in 100 IM

Jordan – 4 new PBs

Avi – 3 new PBs

Bryn – 3 new PBs

Zephan – 4 new PBs

Leighten – PBs in all 6 events and a huge 32 second drop in 200 IM

Pierre – 5 new PBs
